igatahes loodan, et seni, kuni BF3 idaneb, tasub MoHi mängida. BC2e rongist jäin ma maha ja ei kavatse sellele enam järgi joosta.
Kenny Magnusson a senior lighting and VFX artist for EA/DICE will be holding a session at the GDC 2011 conference (February 28 - March 4.) In the blurb for about the session, Kenny states the following.
Kenny Magnusson wrote:
This session presents a detailed overview of the new lighting system implemented in DICEs Frostbite 2 engine and how it enables us to stretch the boundaries of lighting in BATTLEFIELD 3 with its highly dynamic, varied and destructible environments
The session is focused towards rendering programmers and technical artists, however attendants of GDC will be able to view the session. Kenny also mentions that Frostbite 2 will take lighting capabilities of Battlefield 3 beyond any previous Battlefield.
Attendees should expect to take away the following from the session:
Quote:
* How we merged the two lighting systems for mirror's edge and battlefield
* How does a real time radiosity architecture work for a Video Game
* How we manage the new authoring of meshes
* The advantages of a real time radiosity
* Lighting large environments
* The best practice
* How we use lights
* Why its important to separate elements in the lighting system
* why is workflow so important
* what we have we learned in this process
And at sessions demonstrating rendering, especially lighting, there is probably going to be demos and/or videos. These demos will of course find their way to the internet and there's a good chance that these videos and demos will feature some of Battlefield 3's environments.
This will be the largest Frostbite 2 announcement thus far. It is highly expected that this will be the first time that we see what Battlefield 3 will look like.
In an interview with EA's CEO John Riccitello he stated that Treyarch is not well managed. Stating that EA will make major strides in the FPS market in the coming year, he stated that Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm were going to be the major hits as well as the lightly known Battlefield 3 (well, to everyone else.) Riccitello also said, "I think it's far from proven that the gaming consumer views a product from Treyarch in the same category as a product from what was (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 developer) Infinity Ward."
With EA's recent agreement with Infinity Ward, the two plus DICE are really expecting to dominate the FPS market. And Riccitello also made it clear that he Battlefield 3 is going to be the major hit of the year, specifically the last half of 2011. Right in time for the release of the new unannounced, but already highly anticipated Call of Duty game.

and you’ll see a lot about Battlefield 3 next year, which I think is, at least from our perspective, designed to be the one that is the big leap forward; the one that is going to help a lot.
However, the question is, is EA rushing the developers to make the game? Just a few months ago they said that Battlefield 3's developers were being given their space to make sure that the game would be awesome. Side note, the board of directors could have picked a CEO with an easier name to spell, but that's not to say that John isn't talented.
Electronic Arts will unveil Battlefield 3 this March.
The publisher confirmed to the media it will host an unveil event for the game on Mar. 1, 2011, taking place during the week of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, EA says it will also have new game announcements as well as hands-on time with many upcoming titles, including: Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2.
Those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor the past fall received an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta. Details about the beta's release date have not been announced.
Ei usu. BF1942 üleminek BF2 oli tõsine areng. Ma ei näe miks see BF3 puhul ei võiks toimida. Neid 16 vs. 16 FPS on terve ilm täis, sisult samasugused. Massiivset fps oleks väga vaja, turg on ju sisuliselt tühi vastavasisulistest mängudest.

Rohkem määrab see, kas sulle lihtsalt meeldib mäng. Ja vietnam on üks mõnus nostalgiline lisapakett.
