Fire Point announced the completion of the first stage of development of the Freyja missile defense system and its readiness to begin mass production of the FP-7X interceptor missile in August, as soon as it receives German-made infrared homing heads from Diehl Defence.

The project involves combining a Ukrainian interceptor missile with European-made radar and optoelectronic systems.
According to CEO, company is at the most difficult stage of combining all components, surveillance radars, tracking systems and homing heads, and plans to carry out the first successful interception of a ballistic target by mid-2027.
