Just a few scant days before the year's biggest gaming event and GameTrailers has snuck into E3's living room and unwrapped one of its biggest gifts. Oh, and it televised what it found inside, spoiling it for everyone.
So, what was inside? Namely: "Brink" the product of Bethesda and Splash Damage's collaboration, first revealed just over a year ago. And what does the teaser trailer tell us about said project? Well, for starters: it's a video game, it appears to have a science fiction theme and, if the sound of bullets are any indication, there will be shooting in it. More details? It's coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC (with Games for Windows support). Oh, and you'll be playing it by Spring 2010 take that, holiday shopping season!

The Story

In practise this means that when holding down the SMART button, youll automatically traverse the terrain without having to juggle the controls yourself. SD were quick to point out this wasnt an attempt to simplify the controls for newbies, but rather to allow more complicated manoeuvrability. So yes, holding it down and run forward, and youll automatically jump fences, dodge furniture, etc. But apply it tactically and it can let you intuitively move in an intelligent way. See an archway thats dangerous to run through? Look up as you hold down SMART and it will know you want to jump up and over it. Look down and youll feet-first slide as if stealing base. It means you can leap and glide around while focusing on combat. Theres still a hesitation here - the Assassins Creed Syndrome where you feel youre uninvolved in the more fun acrobatics could still be a problem. Again, wed have to play with it ourselves before we could know either way.

Tundub, et mängumootoriga midagi viga ei ole, sest kõik ETQW-s olnud bugid peaksid olema parandatud. Väga tore tunne, et mõned mängutegijad viitsivad fänne kuulata ja mitte rahanäljas paska teha(COD:MW2, Wolfenfail jne).
ET:QW-ga oli jama, et ei suudetud realiseerida kõike, mis oli plaanitud. Nad üritavad mängu täiesti perfektseks teha. Natuke jama jah, et mäng nii kaugele lükati, aga võib-olla on see müügistrateegia(Ise eelistan suveks väljalaskmist, et suvel hetkekski igav ei hakkaks).

Endal üks oodatumaid mänge arvestades, et kunagi sai kõvasti ET'd taotud. Nüüd tuuakse vana hea objective'itega and erinvate class'idega gameplay tänapäeva. SMART on geniaalne ja character customization näeb kah tegija välja.
Inimesed siin ma vaatan teevad osasid asju vast ka suuremaks kui vaja. Tegu ei ole mingi suure RPG'ga (juhul kui viimased Call of Duty'd on mõne arust RPG'd) ja kindlasti ei ole tegu MMO'ga. Sama asi käib ka Mirror's Edge'i võrdluste kohta. Kuigi light body type'idega vennad on suht kiired ja ronivad igaltpoolt üle, siis ei ole see ülsdegi pea point.
Ei noh... eks seda dev diary juttu oleme varem ka kuulnud. Nagu mängude areng on tõestanud, enamasti ratast leiutada ei suudeta. BRINKi puhul oleks ilmselge võit see, kui nad suudavad sujuvalt fps liikumise, tulistamise, rollika tegelase muutmise võimalused sulatada ühte kompotti, mis sobib, töötab ja on mugav kasutada.
* Normaalsed vennad selle taga (Enemy Territory loojad).
* Originaalne (SMART button).
* Hea visuaalne stiil (mis lubab luua lahedaid tegelasi läbi character customizationi)
* Ei ole halb konsooliport (põhivennad SD's on PC dev'id).
* Arvatavasti saab olema ka normaalne community

Loomulikult oleneb sellest kah, kas oled suur tüüp või väike.
