Treileri esilinastus toimus 2009 Spike Video Game Awardsi ajal. Infot on siiani vähe ja millal ta võiks välja tulla ei tea. Arendajaks tundub ikka endiselt olema Rocksteady ning kirjastajaks WB Interactive.

Amazon.com has just updated with a listing for the sequel to developer Rocksteady’s smash hit, Batman: Arkham Asylum. The highly anticipated follow-up, Batman Arkham Asylum 2 has been listed for pre-order at the price of $56.99. The box art shown in the listing displays the crumbling Batman symbol from the teaser trailer, but is not an official box art.
Look for more information on Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 in the coming months. For now, get your pre-orders in to be among the first to play it when it finally releases.
The list of villains continues to grow. Over the weekend, Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy confirmed Two-Face would also be in the game. Conroy also said Arkham Asylum 2 will be "really, really dark."

Kõikidele ei peagi mingi mäng sobima, maitse asi. Minu arust oli ikka suht legendaarse teosega.
Kas see on see esimesest osast Harley Quinn ? Natuke muudetud teda.. näeb välja nüüd nagu Lara Croft Aga igatahes tõotsb vägev mäng tulla ei jõua ära oodata.

Speaking to GameSpot, Sefton Hill has revealed that Batman: Arkham City is set to be five times bigger than 2009’s Arkham Asylum. The Rocksteady Studios developer also gave insight into gameplay tweaks for the sequel.
“We wanted the player to experience the freedom and exhilaration of gliding down alleyways and soaring above the skyline, and this has meant nearly twice as many moves and animations as in the original game. Hill told Gamespot.
“I wouldn’t describe the game as “sandbox” because a totally open and free-form gameworld would not allow us to create the kind of atmosphere that we wanted to, but we don’t hold your hand either. Arkham City is its own place; a massive superprison, jam-packed with supervillains, thugs, and psychopaths. There aren’t any rules, but it has a law of its own, and this is why it is a perfect setting for Batman.”

Batman Arkham City multiplayer debunked by Rocksteady CVG

Batman: Arkham City will not have a multiplayer or co-op mode, Rocksteady studio director Sefton Hill has confirmed.
The developer said that the entirety of the team's focus has gone on the sequel's single-player, which is set to benefit because of it.
"There have been a number of rumours circulating about a multiplayer mode in Batman: Arkham City so let me start by saying, once and for all, that Batman: Arkham City is a 'single-player only' experience," he told IGN.
"Our thought process behind this was fairly simple: when we investigated adding multiplayer we asked, 'If we use all of the energy that is required to create multiplayer and instead focus this on the single player, would that deliver a better overall game?'
"With the game now coming to the final stages, I can honestly say it would not have been possible to deliver Arkham City the way we wanted to if we'd have added multiplayer.
"So it might not be the fashionable choice, it might not get us an extra tick on the box, but we are convinced, and we hope that gamers will agree when they get to play the finished game, that we have made the right decision."
