Marru ajas veel see kui omad vennad vahivad kuskil lagedal ja niipea kui mina oma peakese kuskilt välja pistan siis millegipärast kõik vaenlased lasevad mind. Oli üks talvine missioon kus see eriti välja paistis.
Rohkem oleks tahtnud meeskonnatööd vms. Vaatan oma jookseb sinna nurka, selge sealt ei tohiks siis vaenlasi tulla ja arvake ära kus poolt surmav lask tuleb. Samas enda mees ei ole surma ka saanud, lihtsalt ei oska pahasi lasta. Või siis jooksen oma poole ja see vahib vaenlasega pmst tõtt SEda juhtus aga 2-3 korral. COD 4-jas oli see muidu eriti hull kuidas AI-d vahtisid üksteisele otsa ja sa seal vahel noppisid ja vaatasid, et omasid ei lasknud, muidu alustasid viimasest checkpoindist uuesti.

Tahaks loota, et VAC võtab midagi ette, kuid kahtlen. Kuna kasutajad ise servereid adminida ei saa, siis pole ka võimalik cheaterite vastu võidelda.

Here is a funny one for you about valve`s VAC. When Vac was released back in the day cheating was common place, server admins like myself had a full time job trying to keep the hackers out and the fun in. We used PB for the most part and it kept things to a dull roar. While no game is cheat prof PB did it`s job in keeping a handle on things. I was in my first season of CAL (gaming league) and was in the general bracket (Cal-o) for Day of Defeat. We were playing on Anzio, I was hidden in the middle room, alone.. when up through the floor came a single headshot. over and over this guy kept pulling this move. We turned his video into cal anti cheat and he was cal banned. I took a ss of his IP addy using the "status" console command, I sent it along with the video to vac. I recived a letter thanking me for supporting vac and assuring me that they were hard at work ridding the online community of such e-terrorist. A month later, in a pub, there is the exact same guy, doing the exact same hack. He laughed in text that he wasnt getting banned and that valve didnt care that he cheated. So again, I took a video of him and took his information and sent it off to vac. I explained to Vac that it was the second request that he be handled and asked that they look into it. Generic response (se above) Enough was enough, the guy showed up on my server ( I was admin) and started cheating again, general wall hax. He then even called the cheat out by it`s name. A quick search showed that he wasnt lieing. He had been using a hack that had been around from quake. It had been changed very little if at all and was still being used in CS/DOD. Armed with the name of the hack and where it was being downloaded from, I sent yet another email to Valve and directed them to the hosting site and informed them that the guy was still hacking. No response. The guy had downloaded the no bann hack, if any of you remeber that beauty it kept admins from banning you and you could act like a tool until the server cleared. He showed up for days without fail to my server and tortured my regs. Finially I had enough. I downloaded the hack, tore it apart and a few programming friends of mine and I spent about 3 hours finding away to detect that specfic hack. Cleaver little program, we opened the .pac files and changed the models to have 4 shades of purple. whenever the program detected 10-20% match, it would show there player in light purple, 20-40% it would be darker.. you see where its going. I WAS AMAZED AT THE PURPLE OCEAN of players that were around. All using the exact same hack. The person who wrote the hack went as far as signing his name to the code, and a simple ram check looked for his name, then started matching other coding artifacts until you were dark purple and likely a hacker. It atleast gave admins someone to be leary of. I packaged everything I had found out along with my program and sent it to vac. I was pretty freakin proud of myself and was sure Valve would be happy to see our work. This is there reply, The use of this program on a vac controlled server is a banable offense. ?????????????????????? So I went out and bought a new game and loaded up the game with our program installed.... BANNED. So VAC,couldnt catch the guy we reported, but did use my own software to catch me catching them : / BTW, The hack is still able to be downloaded and still from the same site and still is unchanged as it was when it was reported. So IF, why trust Vac?
