Antud töö eest on võimalik ka tasu saada!

Probleem järgmine:
Sai sülekale HP 6910p peale installitud Ubuntu 8.04 ja kompitud uus kernel 2.6.26-5.
Uus kernel sai peale lastu nimme et saada tööle sisemine Smart Card Reader, aga vana kerneliga vahe ainult selles, et uus leiab vähemalt seadme üles aga teatab seejärel [--no driver--].

Seega, kas teab keegi kuidas saaks tööle antud SC Readeri?
Seadme enda füüsiline kiip on Ricoh R5C853 (see kontroller on ka teiste seadmete jaoks PCMCIA/SD/MMC jne).
Samas on olemas ka antud seadme Win XP driverid, et kas neid annab kuidagi Ubuntu külge pookida? A'la sama trikiga mida on kasutatud ka Broadcom Wifide pookimiseks linuxile.

antud card reader on ka mu enda HP-l ja vähemalt sd kaardid töötavad mul ka 2.6.24.19 kerneliga. 2.6.25 olevat lisatud sony memory stick tugi, aga pole ise proovinud seda.

Mul on läpparil ka sisemine Smart Card Reader, teistsugune mudel (O2 Micro OZ711EC1). Asja lahendamiseks võtsin ühendust isegi mingi prantslasest ccid paketi arendajaga (http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid.html). Ja siis kuidagi, igatahes mitte läbi Google'i, leidsin lõpuks mingi projekti veebilehe, mis tegi põhimõtteliselt ainult O2Micro firma Smart Card Readeritele draivereid ( https://gna.org/projects/o2scr). Nii et minu soovitus - ära anna alla.
