  According to game developer Auran, Fury is a PvPMMO. It focuses on intense player vs. player (PvP) arena combat. In fact, the whole game involves PvP only, so if you don't like PvP, Fury is not the game for you. If, however, you enjoy PvP and can't get enough, Fury is a godsend. The fast-paced action is silimar to that of a FPS, but there is no aiming, so there isn't as much "twitch." With an available 400+ abilities, but only being able to bring a limited amount into battle, you'll have to use some strategy. In Fury your character will have no class restrictions. You are free to acquire and use any and all abilities in the game, allowing you to be as focused or diverse as you want for any given battle. Before each battle, you can change your character's skill set using any abilities and equipment you possess, thus removing the need for having multiple alts (alternate characters). This is why Auran has decided to limit one character per account. An advantage (or disadvantage depending on how you look at it) of that is your friends and guildmates will know you by one name and not have to keep up with several names.

Mulle, kui paadunud Guild Warsi ja teiste MMORPG PvP fännile, on Fury väga lõbus. Furys PvE puudub, kõik on üles ehitatud PvP-le. Kõige rohkem meenutab Fury mulle oma buildide valmistamisega(mis on võidu võti) ja praktiliselt levelite puudumisega Guild Warsi(tuletame meelde, et GW-s oli neid 20 ja Furys on ainult rangid, mis tegelikult midagi erilist ei loe) Fury-s on ainult 1 viga ja see on vähene populaarsus. Väheste mängjate tõttu on mängus palju vigu(nt. matchmaking ei tööta ja selle pärast mõnikord võitlevad tugevad mängjad ikka nõrkade vastu, kuigi nad midagi sealt ei saa.) Samuti on igav lihtsalt linnas olla, kuna peaaegu kedagi ei ole kohal. Samuti pikad ajad arenale sisenemiseks.
Fury on õpitav, aga võib olla esimest korda mängjale väga segane. Mind omati(vabandage väljenduse eest) u. 3 sekundiga esimesel korral ära ja ma ei saanud ise ka aru,mis nüüd juhtus. Matši lõpuks olin aga juba kolmas.(Palju jooksmist ja selja tagant ründamisi ) Ühe matši pikkus on 10min, nii sobib see näiteks tööl lõunapausil mängimiseks. Üks hea asi on Fury puhul see, et mäng ei nõua edukaks olemisel nolife-mist. Paar matši päevas ja võid peale nädalat juba järgmisel tasemel mängida.

Gamecock and Auran Games have announced that they have chosen a ‘free to download, free to play’ business model for their arena combat game Fury. The new model will begin with the release of the first major free content update “Age of the Chosen” on December 14.

“FURY was built around giving players options that suit their play style and their wallet,” said Tony Hilliam, CEO of Auran. “With the AotC update, we are introducing a new player category called “Chosen”. As one of the Chosen, players can access all game types, equip all weapons and unlock all 400 abilities - and they can play as much as they like absolutely free. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to jump into battle with their mates and discover the frenetic pace of the fastest RPG combat ever. Chosen will earn less gold and essence, and will not be able to trade with other players.”

They will still be selling in-game upgrades like the “Hero” status that allows players to earn more essence and gold in-game. The free content update that is being released this week will see two new game types introduced - Carnage and 1v1 Elimination.

We have reached our time limit to find a solution that would help us keep the Fury servers open. Sadly, no solution has been found and so we have no alternative than to shut the servers down in 48 hours.

To all those players who have enjoyed Fury and played countless battles, I am sorry that we could not find a viable business model that would allow you to continue playing. To all those naysayers and doomsdayers, we know that deep down you wanted Fury to succeed. Have fun with your parting wishes. :)

To the Auran team, who put their heart and soul into making Fury, thanks for your efforts. As I said many times before, we need to be much better than the competition to have a chance of succeeding. We gave it everything we had and history now judges that it still wasn’t good enough.

Whilst this marks the end of the Fury chapter, who knows what the future may bring. There were many gems hidden within Fury and many lessons learned. Hopefully one day the full potential can be realized in some other form.
