Thank you for contacting PlayStation Support. I'm sorry to hear you've had issues adding a payment card to your account.
Before we go any further, please check if your card is a payment method accepted on the PlayStation Store. You can confirm this on our website at
https://www.playstation.com/support/store/payment-methods-accepted-on-ps-store/.
To troubleshoot your issue, I also recommend that you confirm the following:
• Make sure credit/debit card is registered to the same country as the account for PlayStation Network.
• Make sure you're entering the card holder's name exactly as it appears on the card and that the billing address is exactly correct
If you've confirmed that this is all correct, please wait 24 hours without making any attempts to add the card to your account. After this time, please try to add the card again.
Should you continue to experience issues adding the card, please contact your payment provider for further assistance. In the meantime, if you would like to make a purchase from the PlayStation Store we would recommend that you purchase PSN money vouchers as a temporary workaround.

Hi,
I have confirmed that my card is accepted payment method on PlayStation Network as it is a VISA card.
My VISA debit card is registered in Ireland, so is my PlayStation Network account. Both in the same country.
I tried to enter my full name as “...”, also “MR ...” as it is on my bank statements.
I did the same with my address. Still no luck.
There is no issue with my payment provider, as the same card works perfectly fine with Amazon, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, eBay etc. With ALL OTHER SERVICES.
Can you please advise.

Thank you for your recent contact with PlayStation support.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems registering your credit or debit card on your account. To successfully register card to an account on the PlayStation Network there are a few things you would need to check first.
1 - Make sure the credit/debit card is registered to the same country as the account for PlayStation Network.
2 - Make sure that you are entering the card holders name exactly as it appears on the card.
3 - Make sure that you are entering the billing address exactly as it is on file with the card provider. You may need to double check this with them as there can sometimes be discrepancies in the way addresses are recorded on different databases.
If you are still unable to add the card please contact the card provider directly to check with them if there is any block on their end. This is important even if you are able to register the card on other websites, as a block may be service specific.
If the issue persists and you need to get back in touch please provide the following:
1 - A screen shot of the error message you receive when trying to register your card.
2 - The type of card you are attempting to register.
3 - The platform you are using to register the card (i.e., PS4, PS5, website)
4 - A time stamp for your last attempt to register it (date and exact time).
5 - Confirmation of what the card provider advised when you contacted them.
Once we have this we can investigate further. In the meantime you can continue to use an alternative payment method or wallet top up vouchers on your account. Your case reference number is ... .

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
1 – My VISA debit was issued in Ireland by Allied Irish Banks. My PSN account is registered to Ireland.
2 – I entered my name correctly as it is on the card.
3 – I entered my billing address correctly as it is on my bank statements.
The issue is still there..
1 – See the attached screenshots
2 – VISA debit
3 – PS5 and PlayStation website
4 – Around 20:35 (on the PlayStation website) and 21:15 (on my PS5 console) Dublin time @ 20/3/2023
5 – I called my bank (AIB) and described my issue. They advised there are no blocks or limitations on my card.
Please advise how to proceed next.
