StatCounter: Chrome Continues to Be the Most Used Browser in the World

Google Chrome maintains its top position in the chart of the world’s most used web browsers, even managing to attract a few more users.

According to data from StatCounter, Chrome had a market share of 45.6 percent in May, up from the 45.22 of the previous month.

Internet Explorer, on the other hand, has managed to lose quite a few users, dropping from 21.43 percent to 20.78 percent in just a single month. The Microsoft-built browser has actually been on a downward trend in recent months, considering that back in March, it had a market share of 22.55 percent.
