Sain endale sünnipäevaks Compaq nc6400 läppari. Läpparil on kaasas ka FingerPrint (sõrmejälje lugeja). Kuid ei ole kaasas CD aga on õpetus olemas.

1. Select Start > All Programs > HP ProtectTools Security Manager, and then click Credential Manager in the left navigation pane. On select computer models, you may need to install the ProtectTools software. Select Start > All Programs > Software Setup, and then follow the instructions on the screen. When prompted to select components, select the check boxes next to the following programs: • HP ProtectTools Security Manager • Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools 2. Click Log On in the upper-right corner of the “My Identity” page. The Credential Manager Logon Wizard opens. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions, and when prompted, use your Windows password to log on. 4. Click Register Fingerprints on the “My Identity” page, and then follow the on-screen instructions to register at least two fingerprints. When registering your fingerprints: • Swipe your finger slowly over the fingerprint reader several times, pausing briefly between each swipe. • Continue swiping the same finger over the fingerprint reader until the finger on the screen turns green and the progress indicator displays 100%. 5. After you have registered at least two fingerprints, click Finish.

Lähen Start > All Progams ja ei leia kuskil sellist asja nagu "HP ProtectTools Security Manager". Käisin HP kodulehel ja tõmbasin endale selle programmi ja kävitasin selle. Siis on öeldud, et pean clickima "Credential Manager" aga seal ei ole sellist asja.

Ja mitte kuskil pole sellist asja nagu "Credential Manager". Olen tõmmanud "HP ProtectTools Security Manager" Vanemaid versioone kah aga ikka ei saa tööle. Soovin abi siis FingerPrint tööle saamisel
